ENTER PLAYER 1

  Master Terms & Conditions

       Updated: 02 Apr 2026

1. About ENTER PLAYER 1

ENTER PLAYER 1 operates promotional prize draws and competitions within the United Kingdom.

Where a compliant free entry route is provided, promotions are structured to meet the requirements of a free prize draw under the Gambling Act 2005 and therefore do not require a gambling licence.

No purchase is necessary where a valid free entry route is available. Paid entries (where offered) are an optional alternative method and do not affect the chances of winning.

Each promotion is governed by these Master Terms together with the specific details stated on the relevant draw page.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to residents of the United Kingdom only, unless otherwise stated
  • Participants must be 18 or over
  • Proof of age or identity may be requested
  • Immediate family members of the operator are not eligible
  • The operator reserves the right to refuse or void entries where eligibility cannot be verified

3. Types of Promotions

ENTER PLAYER 1 may operate:

  • Free-entry prize draws
  • Paid-entry alternative route draws
  • Skill-based competitions
  • Instant win promotions
  • Limited entry or capped-entry draws
  • Promotional events with fixed or dynamic prize pools

Each promotion will clearly state its structure on the relevant page.

4. Entry Routes

Each draw page will specify:

  • Entry price (if applicable)
  • Maximum entries per person
  • Free entry method (where available)
  • Closing date and time
  • Prize details
  • Total entry cap (if applicable)
  • Odds information (where published)

Where total entry caps are not fixed in advance, odds depend on the total number of valid entries received before closing.

The operator does not guarantee a minimum number of entries unless explicitly stated.

Closing times refer to the time stated on the official draw page.

The operator’s system time shall be the official time reference for all promotions.

4.1 Free Postal Entry

Free entry is available by post as follows:

  • Send one entry per envelope
  • Include full name, email address, and draw number
  • Send to the published postal address

Entries must:

  • Be posted before the published Entry Closing Time for the relevant promotion
  • Have correct postage
  • Be legible
  • Not be mechanically reproduced or bulk submitted
  • Not be sent via automated or commercial mailing systems

Free postal entries received after the Entry Closing Time may still be included in the draw provided they were posted before the Entry Closing Time and arrive within a reasonable processing window.

The Draw Date may occur after the Entry Closing Time to allow postal entries to be received and processed.

Free entries are assigned unique Entry ID numbers and are given equal weighting to paid entries.

5. Skill-Based Questions (Where Applicable)

Where a competition includes a skill element:

  • The question will require genuine knowledge or skill
  • An incorrect answer may invalidate the entry
  • The operator reserves the right to reject entries that do not meet the stated criteria

6. Instant Wins (Where Applicable)

Where instant win prizes are offered:

  • Instant wins are allocated randomly from a predefined pool
  • Each instant prize has equal chance allocation within its distribution model
  • Instant wins do not affect the fairness of the main draw
  • Full details of instant prizes will be shown on the promotion page

7. Entry Limits & Caps

Where entry caps or limits apply:

  • These will be clearly displayed on the draw page
  • Entries exceeding stated limits may be voided or refunded
  • The operator may close a draw early if the maximum entry cap is reached

8. Payment Processing

Paid entries may be processed via third-party providers including but not limited to:

  • PayPal
  • Stripe
  • Other secure payment processors

ENTER PLAYER 1 does not store full payment card details.

Payment provider terms apply in addition to these Terms.

Once an entry is successfully submitted, it cannot be withdrawn except where required by law.

9. Entry Identification & Records

Each valid entry is recorded with:

  • Draw Number
  • Participant ID
  • Entry ID

A ledger of entries is maintained for compliance and transparency.

Entry records and payment confirmations are retained for a minimum of 6 years for legal and accounting compliance.

After this period, anonymised archival records may be retained for statistical, audit, and historical integrity purposes.

10. Winner Selection

  • All valid entries are assigned unique Entry IDs
  • Entries are finalised after closing
  • Winners are selected using a random number generator (RNG)
  • The number range reflects the total valid entries
  • The selection process is recorded and documented internally.
  • The winning Entry ID is documented internally
  • The operator’s decision is final, subject to applicable consumer protection law

Where odds are published, they reflect the stated entry cap or total entry volume at closing.

All valid entries, whether paid or free, have an equal chance of winning.

11. Winner Announcement & Anonymity

  • Winners may be announced publicly
  • Winners may choose to be identified by first name and county
  • Winners may choose to remain anonymous and be referenced by Participant ID and Entry ID only

The operator retains sufficient information to demonstrate that a legitimate winner exists in compliance with UK consumer protection law.

The operator may request confirmation from a winner before public announcement.

The operator may also publish proof of the draw process where appropriate.

12. Prize Fulfilment

  • Digital prizes are typically delivered within 24 hours of winner confirmation, subject to verification and reasonable operational constraints
  • Physical prizes are dispatched as stated on the draw page
  • Prizes are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise
  • No cash alternatives unless explicitly stated
  • The operator is not responsible for delivery delays outside reasonable control

13. Refunds, Abuse & Disqualification

Entries may be voided or refunded if:

  • The participant is ineligible
  • Payment is reversed or fraudulent
  • Entry limits are exceeded
  • Postal entries do not comply with requirements
  • There are reasonable grounds to believe abuse, automated entry, identity manipulation, collusion, or attempts to circumvent entry rules have occurred

The operator reserves the right to disqualify entries where necessary to preserve fairness.

14. Responsible Participation

Participants should only enter if comfortable with the entry cost and nature of the promotion.

15. Platform Disclaimer

Promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or any other social media platform unless explicitly stated.

16. Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with the ENTER PLAYER 1 Privacy Policy, available on this website.

17. Limitation of Liability

  • The operator shall not be liable for technical failures, lost postal entries, payment provider issues, or events outside reasonable control
  • Liability is limited to the value of the entry cost where applicable
  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so

18. Amendments

  • The operator reserves the right to amend these Terms where necessary for legal compliance or operational clarity
  • The most current version will always be published on this page
